Abstract :
In this contribution, we investigate the tunnelling and radiating phenomena associated to coupled omega particles. When properly excited, the strong resonances arising in this kind of inclusions may lead to extraordinary transmission effects through sub-wavelength apertures and to interesting probing features with high efficiency in the detection of the electromagnetic radiation.
