Abstract
In this paper we analyze and model the Doppler characteristics of the on-body time-variant channel. The analysis has been carried out on measurement results at 2.4 GHz in anechoic chamber and indoor. The results show that the Doppler spectrum of on-body channels cannot be represented by the classical Jakes´ bath tube-like model. A simplified model for different on-body scenarios is proposed in this paper.
