Abstract :
This paper presents two different unit cell topologies for tensor transmission-line (TL) metamaterials. These metamaterials can exhibit tensorial material properties unlike their TL metamaterial predecessors which could only exhibit diagonal material parameters. Circuit simulations of a field rotator device implemented using tensor TL metamaterial are also presented to show the utility and potential of these recently developed metamaterials.
