Abstract
A problem of monochromatic electromagnetic wave diffraction by a perfectly electrically conducting (PEC) surface of rotation located in a free space is investigated. The problem is reduced to sets of hypersingular and singular integral equations, which are solved by the method of discrete singularities, using interpolation type quadrature formulas. From the solutions of these sets the electric field expression and the far - zone patterns are obtained. The presented method has a guaranteed convergence for none axially symmetric primary field.
