Abstract
Wearable antennas are best designed with a body perturbation in place and therefore need to be tuned on the body. However for a number of reasons humans are far from uniform in their tissue proportion. Fat, thin, tall and short are important however age, race and sex may also be important because of changes to the diffractive properties of the skins surface. The use of consistent human body phantoms has been thought to be a reliable alternative for measurements.
