Abstract :
The main purpose of this paper is to numerically study the impact of various human body models on the performances of a dual-band antenna operating at 2.4 GHz and 5.5 GHz. The antenna characteristics have been investigated on two adult and two child anthropomorphic voxel models within the 2-6 GHz range. Variations of the antenna characteristics in terms of reflection coefficient S11, gain, efficiency, absorbed power, and 1g-averaged peak SAR are analyzed and discussed.
