Abstract
A compact horn was developed for the Parkes radio telescope in order to perform radio astronomy experiments on the neutral atomic hydrogen (H) spectral line and the hydroxyl radical (OH) molecular lines. The need to integrate to existing equipment and for compactness made the design of an efficient system complex.
