Abstract :
PMD mitigation in 2×10-Gb/s RZ-OOK PDM systems is demonstrated through a single all-optical-regenerator with polarization-diversified loop configuration. 3.0-dB eye-diagram-based SNR improvement is achieved in the presence of 6.3-ps DGD for RZ signals with 18-ps pulsewidth.
