Abstract
Power cable and signals systems are often placed on a metal bed sheet or on closed structure channel type. The presence of this ferromagnetic structure change the external magnetic field of cable and the phenomena interference by electromagnetic induction (inductive coupling) produced on the neighborhood wires. This paper will highlight the interference that occurs in a system composed by a single conductor and a metal bed, when the conductor is carrying a current (equivalent to single phase short circuit).
