Abstract :
In web search user usually has geo and temporal intent or preference aim at different query. In order to improve search quality we propose a novel approach to capture implicit geo and temporal intent in the form of query profile by mining search results leveraging Knowledge Base. Our approach classifies query into five classes based on decision tree algorithm and set different weights to different query class to balance content, geo and temporal information associated with a query. The experiment evaluation results show the effectiveness of our approach and improvement of the search quality.
