Abstract :
Intelligent substation serves as the basis and the backbone for the establishment of the Smart Grid. In order to solve the problem of “Information Island” which has normally been seen in the conventional substation, the paper initially analyzes the features and the classification of the information and information flow within the substation communication network according to IEC61850 standard. Then it proposes an information integration scheme for the intelligent substation using the existing communication, information, intelligence equipment and power control technology based on the substation information integration platform. Based on different real-time information requirements, it simplifies the platform data interface and focuses on the principles of object-oriented in the process level. It collects and uploads data so as to improve the accuracy of the data. Function-oriented integration of existing equipments in the bay level enhances system reliability which ensures the authenticity, integrity and consistency of data and maximizes the device interoperability and information sharing between different applications.
