Abstract :
Large scale project involves multiple distributed participating organizations, which creates requirement for flexible organization form and effective inter-organizational cooperation. How to integrate the multiple participates is a central preoccupation for present top managers and researchers. The concept of large scale project network is proposed, the influencing factors of networks are analyzed, and further a conceptual framework of network operational mechanism is presented. The proposed framework integrates hard and soft aspects, emphasizes human factors and relationship factors in organization network, and bridges the gap between the traditional project management methods and network paradigm.
