Abstract :
Many scholars present improved methods for the insufficiencies in D-S evidence theory when dealing with the conflicting evidences. A new modified combination rule is presented to mend the disadvantages of the D-S combination rules. This rule results combine two results of the D-S combination rule and the average probability, the the ratio of two results is distributed by conflict extend. The higher the conflict, the lower the proportion of D-S combination result. Experiments show the new combination rule overcomes the insufficiencies, results are better.
