Abstract
A series of experimental investigations on the open-water performance for poded propulsor carried out by H101 dynamical instrument in a cavitation tunnel. Simultaneity, mathematical models of poded propulsor was created and computed by the RANS formula and RNG k - ε model based on sliding meshes. The test results and the prediction results of the thrust coefficients, torque coefficients were compared with the experimental value abroad. It is shown that, the experimental method and the numerical method presented in this paper has good precision in the prediction of poded propulsor open-water performance. At the same time, efficiency of the experimental method is validated by the numerical.
