Research on the method of rapid design based on information integration

The traditional sequential design process can not meet the demands in the fierce market competition, a variety of rapid design methods have emerged, an approach based on information integrated presented in this paper is one of the fast design concept. Through the formation of a broad design team, developing machinery manufacturing information database, electronic component information database, and relying on Pro-intralink, Netmeeting to integrate design, manufacturing, marketing, purchasing links and other information to build a comprehensive information-sharing platform for rapid design, then designers rely on the platform, use design software to implement rapid product design. This article takes razor development as an example, to illustrate the information-based integrated design method of rapid application.
