Abstract :
This paper investigates the H∞ adaptive control of a large class of uncertain time-delayed chaotic systems. This class of systems contains unknown time varying delay disturbances, uncertainties bounded by unknown parameters and dead-zone nonlinearity in the input. Lyapunov-Krasovskii approach is used to deal with the existence of time-delay in the system dynamics. The unknown nonlinear functions are approximated by fuzzy logic systems. By combining H∞ control with the adaptive control technique, a robust adaptive controller is constructed that allows the required H∞ performance to be achieved. Finally, the simulation results for some famous time-delayed chaotic systems are given to confirm the validity and the effectiveness of the control algorithm.
