Abstract :
This paper presents the strategy of combining antenna selection with an adaptive modulation scheme for Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) systems. The proposed scheme maximized the Average Spectral Efficiency (ASE) with a constant power for a given Bit Error Rate (BER) constraint. This system provided the advantages of both antenna selection and adaptive modulation technique Also due to the practical systems cannot estimates the channel perfectly, we investigate the effect of Imperfect Channel State Information (ICSI) on our system.
