Abstract :
In this paper, we present the performance of relay networks utilizing best selection decode-and-forward over independent but nonidentical Nakagami-n fading channels. Using best-worse criterion, the outage probability, moment generation function, symbol error probability and average channel capacity are derived in closed-form using the SNR statistical characteristics for a dual-hop relay network with direct link. Finally, verifying the accuracy of analytical results, we perform some Monte-Carlo simulations.
