Abstract :
Processing for cycle slips is one of the most troublesome problems during GPS data preprocessing, firstly the paper analyzes briefly the reason to cycle slips and its characteristics and then analyzes and illustrates it is feasible to detect cycle slips by the wavelet technology combined with simulation experiment. Secondly, the author does the experiment of detecting cycle slips with different wavelets to determine optimal wavelet function. Experiment shows the wavelet of Sym4 is optimal to detect cycle slips precisely regardless of little cycle slips or many cycle slips and can repair 1 cycle slip correctly and precisely at least combined with polynomial fitting in order 2.So the authors think of detecting cycle slips based on wavelet technology as an undoubtedly effective method during practical GPS data preprocessing with predominance in higher automatization positioning in accuracy and intuitionism.
