  • Abstract
    In this paper, a novel Printed Log Periodic Dipole Array (PLPDA) antenna design based on Composite Right-Left Handed (CRLH) transmission line (TL) is elaborated. With coplanar strip (CPS) transmission line technology and CRLH technology embedded, the proposed PLPDA antenna can realize on single-face, while the conventional PLPDA antennas need to be realized on bi-face. Furthermore, both simulation and measurement results show that the proposed PLPDA antenna has smaller size than the conventional one with the same bandwidth.
