Abstract
This paper presents a reduced order modeling procedure for Rotary wing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. There is a growing interest in developing control strategies for unmanned autonomous helicopters, in particular a small scale one. The procedure for deriving a six degrees-of-freedom module form standard 12th order rigid body dynamics is given.
