Abstract
In the paper a study on the possibility of using the whole set of 16 discrete trigonometric transforms (DTTs) for the transform domain image watermarking is presented. After comparing the results obtained for an image example transformed with the 16 DTTs, which exhibited particular relationship between transforms, the main study based on the correlation coefficient is performed. The results of the watermark introduced in the transform domain and then distorted with the Gaussian and JPEG attack indicate that all the DTTs perform as efficiently as the commonly used discrete cosine transform II-even (DCT II e) and may be considered as a set of alternative solutions.
