Abstract
The research presented in this paper looks at the issues influencing the implementation of ERP in Australian companies, as well as at the level of importance of these issues in participating companies. Additionally, it also looks to what extent implementation activities can affect success and failures in ERP implementations. The research has been accomplished through interviews and questionnaires conducted in five companies in Australia. This research examines the effects that these factors have on Enterprise Resource Planning implementations and ultimately how this affects the success and failure of an implementation.
