SIDE - Teaching support information system

This paper presents the SIDE portal, which is an information system to support teaching, focused on academic management and teaching and learning processes, meeting the needs of integration of information flows from several university information systems. SIDE portal plays a fundamental role in the institution, enabling learning, evaluation and communication without space or time limitations, allowing to meet the challenges of higher education institutions - increase the education capacity and simultaneously be more efficient in academic management processes.
