Abstract :
In this paper, we address the problem of bearings-only target motion analysis of a target traveling in an arc of a circle with a constant speed from a non-maneuvering platform. After some considerations regarding observability, we propose the classical maximum likelihood estimator. Monte-Carlo simulations reveal its efficiency. A test of selection between two types of motion is proposed.
