Abstract
A battery-free 225 nW buck converter is implemented by using 0.25-μm CMOS process with die area of 0.21 mm2. The dynamic on/off time (DOOT) technique can predict the on/off time at different input voltage, as well as suppress static power in the idle period. In addition, the adaptive phase lead mechanism can improve the initial delay from the comparator and improve load regulation by 60 mV.
