Abstract
Healthcare and wellness have been far beyond just interests in all over the world because of changes in lifestyle and aging society. Even though the definitions of them have been controversial, they should be realized with low cost, high usability, and promised performance especially against lifestyle diseases. In this article, the idea of health management is introduced with studies of smart devices and services. The examples of visceral fat measurement, active mass monitoring, and web-based self care services are referred to consideration of the right solution in healthcare and wellness.
