Abstract :
In order to provide the granule unification representation of Granular Computing, the paper discussed the basic meaning, descriptions and the relations between the features of the granule, analyzed the four basic elements of the granule: the objects, the features, the relationships, and the states, presented four-tuples formal representation based on data levels, that is the object set, feature set, relationship sets and constraints set. Then the representation of several special granules are presented, and it shows the unity of the representation, gives a specific examples to study. The formal representation has important significance in methodology to solve well the granule representation based on data levels, and to be conductive to problem solving and granular computing theory studying.
