Abstract :
In this paper, the fault detection approach for nonlinear systems modelled by Takagi-Sugeno (T - S ) fuzzy models based on parity space is studied. The parity space approach for linear systems is generalized to T - S fuzzy systems. Sufficient conditions for the existence of the solutions are derivated in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI). In the end, a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
