Abstract :
The turbine flowmeter is widely used to measure gas or liquid flow, because of these advantages of high accuracy, excellent repeatability and low pressure drop. However, the character of non-linearity limits the extension of its measuring range. A new method of measuring range extension is presented in this paper, through the analysis of the pulse signal outputted by the tubine sensor. This method is simple and practicable, which can also be used in other sensors with pulse signal output.
