Abstract :
This paper investigates delay-dependent stability for linear systems with time-varying delays. A new delay-dependent stability criterion is derived by constructing a Lyapuonv functional and computing a tighter upper bound for the derivative of the Lyapuonv functional. It is shown that the stability criterion is less conservative than some recently reported ones. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the reduced conservatism of the proposed stability results.
