Abstract :
As a meeting point of maritime and land transportation, the operational process of logistics in container terminals shows dynamics, random and complexity. This paper proposes a model of the container terminal scheduling management system based on MAS, focusing on how to coordinate the scheduling of different resources in the container terminal through the interacting and cooperating among agents. The system model is composed of five kinds of agents, such as mission planning agents, dynamic cell agents, container vessel agents, resource management agents and resource agents. And the process of interacting and cooperating among agents is divided into the task planning phase and the task implementing phase. The former adopts the centralized MAS structure, and the latter adopts the hybrid MAS structure. A prototype system is developed.
