Abstract :
The paper describes a new technique, pseudo-spectra to analyze the stability of power system. The approach allows one to quantify which eigenvalues are sensitive to perturbation and how the sensitivity of the eigenvalues directly influences the transient response. The relation of robust stability and pseudospectra abscissa is discussed and numerical simulation results are shown.
