Abstract :
Power control is of fundamental importance to operation of Ad Hoc networks for a number of reasons: throughput, network capacity, battery life; as well as delay can be significantly improved, and so on. It is given that a feedback control system model based on the signal to interference and noise ratio (SINR) of links in the network whose control input is related to the transmitted power. Variable structure power control algorithm based on Lyapunov stability is proposed for wireless Ad Hoc networks in this paper. The proposed method is verified via simulations on SINR, transmitter power, throughput, and the results showed that it is apparently better than BASIC power control method.
