  • Abstract
    A simple way of improving the tolerance of CNT cold cathode with the environment is achieved by coating a thin diamond like carbon (DLC) film on the surface of CNTs. The field emission characteristics of DLC-coated CNT cold cathode are found to maintain stable after long time exposure in a high humidity environment. The effect of DLC coating is discussed.
