Abstract :
This paper presents the experimental investigation of a fault localization algorithm in a network with compensated or isolated star-point grounding. The paper first discusses the theoretical background of the method and then the conclusions drawn from the discussion were tested using a complex network structure (NETOMAC®) with the support of models developed in MATLAB®. Finally, the complete method is proposed and its usability confirmed.
