Abstract :
With the higher and higher requirements for information exchange and network transmission, it is very significant to build a land of economical and practical broadband comprehensive information service network with the hybrid structure of fiber, coaxial-cable. Based on the introduction to the basic principles of hybrid fiber coaxial, this paper analyses the equipment management system of hybrid fiber coaxial, simple network management protocol for the management of HFC network equipment, and the method which implements HFC network equipment management based on SNMP protocol in embedded system. The system hardware platform adopts embedded microprocessor AT91SAM9263 based on ARM architecture, while the software platform adopts customizable embedded real-time operating system Windows CE6.0.
