  • Abstract
    It is difficult to couple the fan-shaped beam into fiber as its large divergence angles and beam size. Coupling equipment for fan-shaped beam was designed, which consists of two parts: parabolic mirror and GRIN lens. Firstly, the model of fan-shaped beam was founded. Secondly, the fan-shaped beam focalized by parabolic mirror and the beam compressed by GRIN lens were studied. Finally, the experiment of coupling fan-shaped beam into multi-fiber was finished. The result of the experiment indicated that using the coupling experiment to couple fan-shaped beam into multi-fiber can obtain sufficient power to satisfying the requirement of application.
