Abstract
A magnetic sensor based on giant magnetoimpedance effect (GMI) was developed. The basic element of the sensor is a Fe-based nanocrystalline ribbon of composition Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9. A sensitivity of 0.6691 V/Oe for the linear sensor was obtained, and the linear correlation coefficient reaches 0.9657 in the range of ±4.5 Oe.
