Beading handicraft is one of popular recreational activity by visually impaired persons in community circles. The developed software recognizes symbols on design diagrams. From the output of the recognizer, the subsequent program makes sentences to be read by human or text-to-speech synthesizer. Audio recording and tag editing software generates acoustic signals of these sentences with DAISY conformed digital talking book contents. Visually impaired persons can use the contents by themselves to guide their beading handicrafts.
