Abstract :
A passive mode-locking fiber laser was demonstrated by using polyurethane-dispersed graphene as the saturable absorber (SA). The result showed that laser pulses with 5nm spectral bandwidth and pulse width about 1ps at wavelength 1560nm were demonstrated. This demonstration indicates that graphene can be a potential material for passive mode-locker for ultrafast laser.
