Abstract
We demonstrate high energy passively Q-switched fiber laser incorporating a carbon-nanotube-based saturable absorber fabricated by optically-driven deposition on a side-polished fiber. Output pulses with pulse energy of 81.3 nJ are obtained from the laser cavity.
