  • Abstract
    Path computation element (PCE) is first introduced for routing and spectrum assignment (RSA) in OFDM-based bandwidth-variable optical networks and a novel PCE-based algorithm for spectrum defragmenting is proposed to improve the continuity of spectrum resource.
