Abstract :
10-GHz direct-modulation mode-locking of weak-resonant-cavity Fabry-Perot laser diode (WRC-FPLD) with 90% self-feedback via circulated fiber ring is demonstrated with spectral linewidth of 15.6 nm at pulsewidth and timing jitter of 18 ps and 650 fs.
