Abstract
The properties of coplanar acoustooptic interaction, that is, Bragg diffraction, due to a leaky surface acoustic wave in a planar Ti-diffused optical waveguide on a 64°-rotated Y-cut LiNbO3 substrate were investigated theoretically and experimentally.
