Abstract
We present through experiment the use of low-overhead (3%) scramble-and-select-based DC-balanced line coding to eliminate the pattern dependency of 10-Gbps continuous-phase frequency-shift keying/amplitude-shift keying signals generated by directly modulated lasers.
