Abstract :
Evidence theory based on variable precision was first proposed by Barbara Marszal-Paszeka. However, the combination of the evidences was based on two mutually independent inconsistent decision tables, which did not consider the weight of evidence combination. In fact, different evidences play the different roles in the evidence combination. In this paper, the weight of evidence is calculated by variable precision rough set.
