Abstract
For multi-area interconnected system with overlapping structure, the decentralized controller is designed, and the optimization controller is used to ensure the quality of power frequency and exchanging power of tie lines for power system. In order to improve the dynamic response property of power system a fuzzy controller is designed in every area control. The genetic algorithm is adopted for the design problems of fuzzy controller rule, membership function and parameter optimization. The simulation results indicate that the dynamic response property for random load disturbance is improved under the condition of ensuring the power system stable for state feedback controller and expert fuzzy controller.
