  • Abstract
This paper presents a direct model-based predictive control strategy for current control of a resistive-inductive-active load with a two-level inverter. A heuristic method is used in order to reduce the calculation effort and to increase the prediction horizon. The active part of the load is determined by a disturbance observer.
