Abstract :
This paper describes a control method of high-power-factor flyback converters for regulating their dc output current using only quantities available on the primary side. The purpose is to achieve opto-less constant-current regulation in isolated offline drivers of LED lamps for bulb replacement where a power factor >; 0.9 is required.
